New Media Local
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
About this policy
This Privacy Policy describes how New Media Local handles information in connection with this website, business inquiries, and appointment booking. New Media Local’s solutions include The Lab, AuthorityProof, and Baltimore Content Studio. Separate service agreements and notices may apply to client projects, interviews, recordings, and connected applications.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, business information, and the details you choose to share. When you book through Calendly, we receive appointment details and the information you provide in the scheduling process. Please do not send passwords, financial account numbers, confidential client files, or other sensitive information through general inquiry fields.
Guide requests and measurement
When you request the AI Visibility Guide, we store your first name, email address, optional business website, request time, and email delivery status to provide the guide and manage your request. We record guide submissions, PDF download responses, and assessment link clicks to understand use of the guide. Your guide request does not automatically subscribe you to promotional emails. If you select the optional follow-up checkbox, we also record your consent and its wording version and may send three AI visibility follow-up emails through Mailgun. Each follow-up includes an unsubscribe link. We retain suppression records to honor opt-outs and complaints, and record send attempts, delivery events, failures, and assessment-link clicks. Link clicks do not confirm that an assessment was booked.
How the Studio inquiry form works
The current Baltimore Content Studio inquiry form prepares a message in your email application. Entering information alone does not send it to New Media Local. You must review the message and send it through your email provider. After you send it, we receive and handle it as business correspondence.
Technical information and embedded services
Our hosting infrastructure and embedded services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, and technical logs needed to deliver and protect their services. This site embeds Calendly scheduling, YouTube video, and Google Maps. Loading these features can connect your browser to those providers, even before you book an appointment or play a video. They may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Article images may also load from external media hosts. An ElevenLabs conversational agent is available across the site. If you choose to interact with it, your messages and, for voice conversations, audio are processed by ElevenLabs to provide the conversation. Voice use requires microphone permission. Do not share sensitive or confidential information with the agent.
How information is used
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, discuss business needs, provide agreed services, maintain business records, and protect the website. If you separately subscribe to marketing communications, you can unsubscribe using the instructions in those messages. Booking an assessment or sending an inquiry does not itself subscribe you to a newsletter.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be handled by providers supporting website hosting, scheduling, email, and agreed services. These providers process information under their own terms and applicable agreements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect rights and safety. Client content and AI processing are governed by the relevant project terms; this policy does not grant permission to publish your private materials.
Retention and security
Business correspondence and appointment information may be retained as needed to respond to you, manage business relationships, meet recordkeeping obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention also depends on the providers used. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary email or general inquiry forms.
Your choices and requests
You can ask about your personal information or request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us below. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and legal or recordkeeping obligations may limit deletion. You can manage cookies through your browser and review the privacy controls offered by embedded providers. Blocking third-party features may affect video, maps, or booking.
Children and international processing
This website is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy when the website or our practices change. The updated date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions or requests, contact Lorita Kimble at [email protected].
